We were given a genre and told to take a picture to fit it. The genre we were given was thriller and we thought the best way to display a thriller in a picture is to build suspense and deliver fear. the picture also has a lot of mystery as you don't know the characters or why they are in this situation. The bars show that there is no where to run which gives the feeling off being trapped. You can't see the face of the person holding the weapon which doesn't give away the story and makes the audience guess who he or she could be and why he is going to kill the boy.
